When rain interrupted the match at 102 for 1, the revised target was adjusted to 115 in 24 overs.

After rain delay, England needed just 13 more runs with plenty of overs left. However, Sciver-Brunt was unexpectedly bowled by a nip-backer from Kranti Goud. India’s review for a catch was unsuccessful, and England quickly recovered. Sophia Dunkley’s elegant shots sealed the win in the 21st over, completing a clinical performance by England.
